Maryland Council for Dance Showcase
The Maryland Council for Dance Showcase was established as a way to present what is going on in the State of Maryland. The intent is to give dance schools, amateur and professional companies, and universities and colleges a forum in which to show their dancers in original, Maryland (or member) choreography. In no way does the Maryland Council for Dance attempt to adjudicate what is presented. We simply attempt to advocate dance as a performing art. We offer a professional performing environment including stage, sound system, lighting, minimal technical assistance, and backstage manager. We invite all festival participants and members in good standing to share what they are doing.
